The disease outbreaks of the olives are treated immediately with gentler methods and environmentally friendly treatments, while fertilizing is achieved only with organic fertilizers. Bio-Spitiko is certified by the Inspection and Certification Body for Organic Products "BIO-HELLAS" (*).
Fully respecting the principles and the EU Commission harmonised standards with Organic Agriculture, BIO-Spitiko is a superior Extra Virgin Olive Oil with great respect to the environment and the contemporary consumer needs for a healthy traditional diet. It is produced traditionally and obtained directly from olives - only by the simple crushing of the olive and solely by mechanical means - according to the EU Legislation.
