The Green Olives "ΕLIA" Spitiko are produced by the thousands cooperative members producers of table olives in Greece. A 100% Greek Product of premium quality.
The best known Greek Green Table Olives varieties are the Chalkidikis and the Konservoelia. These olives can be also made either crusted or pitted.
They grow in blessed areas and peninsulas of Greece (such as Halkidiki region of northern Greece, Arta, Amfissa, an area near the oracle of Delphi, Attica peninsula, Agrinio, Evia Island, Central Greece’s Stylida, Agios Konstantinos and Atalanti, Volos - Pilio, Larissa).
The Greek Olives "Elia" Spitiko are harvested when they are still green - between September and late November to be considered “early picked” and titled “green” olives. They are mainly grow in the Peloponnese - Chalkidiki - Attica peninsulas, and the Evia and Crete Islands for more than 10 centuries. They are natural products, picked by hand one by one, naturally brined, and produced with no artificial additives interventions.
These exquisite Green olives exude a mild salty and tangy taste that could give a nice kick to any food dishes. Ideal to be included in sandwiches, pizzas, sausage and cheese plateau, vegetarian (vegi and vegan) dishes.
